The Quantum 3 is a full-featured pump controller, designed to offer intelligent pumping for small pump stations, without costly PLC programming. Featuring a unique ‘time to spill’ alarm, it offers utilities and plant operators adequate time to react to prevent pump stations from spilling into local water sources. The unit offers the ability to add up to 4 FlowPulse non-invasive pipe flow sensors, so all flow-rate-based alarms and control are based on measurements rather than calculated.
Quantum 3 is an intelligent pump controller that operates in a highly intelligent and predictive manner. The unit can be programmed to ensure that the well is working to capacity, optimize the liquid level, and intelligently control the pumps. This ensures that the process is working as efficiently as possible, providing real cost and energy savings.
The unit includes ten relays and seven digital inputs that are used to detect the status of the pump circuit, with the ability to auto-reset pumps if required. Quantum 3 has optional RS485 digital communications including Modbus RTU and Profibus DP V0 and DP V1 allowing the pump controller to be programmed remotely and integrated into existing site systems.
